The public house and hotel was built in 1890 and has been welcoming guests ever since.

The Flowerpot Hotel offers a mixture of traditional and modern fayre. In the public bars you will find open fires, a collection of cased fish adorning the walls, as well as all the latest Sports available on the 3 TV’s in the pub. The restaurant has a more contemporary collection, including works by Michael Olsen and Multi Award Winning Artist Danni Bradford.

Recent History
The Flower Pot was taken over by its new owners in 2022, reopening in 2023 after a substantial renovation. The renovation was sensitive to its history and still in keeping with the feel of country house hotel and traditional pub.
Art
The pub reflects some of the characteristics of its previous life and the new owners bought some of the old taxidermy that formed part of the old character. In it’s new incarnation there is the introduction of a modern element within the restaurant and bedrooms. Old and new combined for what remains a fabulous spot to visit.
Mooring
One of our stand out features is our unique mooring and jetty, which offers direct access to the serene waters of the Thames. Whether you’re a boating enthusiast or simply love the idea of enjoying peaceful waterside views, our mooring adds an extra touch of elegance to your stay.
We have plenty of free car parking at the front of the pub and in the overflow car park in the field behind. Parking is a on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

As a beautiful countryside property, you’d expect some beautiful and cosy rooms at the Flower Pot and you won’t be disappointed. With oodles of space, stylish ensuite shower rooms, our rooms are perfect for snuggling up and enjoying the views after a day of adventuring.

Each of the rooms at the Flower Pot have their own individual design and characteristics, with panoramic views of the Hamblelden Valley and Aston Village.

Beyond the comfort of our bedrooms and the beauty of our riverside setting, our location in Aston offers a wealth of activities for guest to explore.
You can take leisurely walks along the riverbanks and walks on known trails, charter our boat for beautiful trips down the river, or visit the nearby historic Henley-on-Thames. Nearby are historic parks, churches, the Chiltern Hills and a range of sporting activities, in particular the area has some of the greatest golf link courses in England.
